Keeping the hall a good place to be

Free entertainment can still take more of your evening than you meant to give it. Here is how we suggest keeping the balance.

Strictly adults, 18 and over

Dungeon Perk Protocol is intended only for people aged 18 or older. The door at the entrance asks once per browser and remembers the answer locally. If you are under 18, please close the tab — that boundary is not negotiable and there is no version of this hall for minors.

Where a computer or phone is shared with younger family members, device-level parental controls are far more dependable than any single website's gate. Both Windows and macOS include them at no cost.

Nothing to buy, nothing to win. There are no purchases, deposits, balances, prizes or payouts anywhere in this hall. Every delve is free from the first torch to the last, and no score here carries any value outside the page.

When a session has stopped being pleasant

  • You reach for a delve to avoid a feeling rather than to enjoy an hour.
  • You genuinely do not know how long the tab has been open.
  • Finishing a delve brings relief rather than satisfaction.
  • Sleep, work or the people around you are quietly moving down the list.
  • You would rather nobody knew how much time you spend here.

None of that makes you weak. It means a walk will serve you better than another descent.

Habits that genuinely help

  1. Name the length before the first delve. Thirty minutes decided in advance beats ninety that simply happened.
  2. Put the timer outside the browser. A kitchen timer or phone alarm is harder to negotiate with.
  3. Leave the chair between delves. Sixty seconds of movement resets attention better than a new run.
  4. Do not descend tired or angry. Both stretch sessions out and shrink the enjoyment.
  5. Keep one evening a week with no screens at all. The hall feels better when it is not a habit.

Stepping away for a while

There is no self-exclusion tool here because there is no money at risk. If you want real distance, block this domain in your browser or router and clear the local entries we store — the steps are listed in our Cookie Policy. Clearing them also removes any delver name you carved.

Talking to someone qualified

If your relationship with games of any kind is causing you distress, please speak with a doctor or a licensed counsellor where you live. Public health services and non-profit support lines are free and confidential, and an early conversation is far easier than a late one.

If something about this hall itself makes it harder to stop, tell us through the ravens page. That feedback changes what we build next.

Are you 18 or older?

These halls are adult entertainment. Answer honestly and the door opens.

Every delve inside is free social play with no purchases and no prizes of any kind. By entering you accept our Terms of Use and confirm you have read our Play Wisely guidance.

Delver name

Kept in this browser alone. No email, no server, nothing to pay.

Names are written to this browser only, so a name carved here will not exist on another device.

We keep a few local entries so the hall remembers your age answer and your delver name. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.
